What: Safer Internet Day
When: Tuesday 7th February
Safer Internet Day run globally in February each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children, young people and their families. The campaign sees hundreds of organisations unite to raise awareness of online safety issues and run events and activities right across the UK.
At The Family School, we will be taking part in Safer Internet Day as the day offers the opportunity to highlight positive uses of technology and to explore the role we all play in helping to create a better and safer online community

10:30 – 11:15 – Supporting children to keep safe online

11:30 – 12:00pm
Supporting safe use of mobile / electronic / social media monitoring

Family class based activity helping children to stay safe online
Classroom based activities – Parent/carer and pupils
